(1)	Forse gli accendini accesi nei concerti sono nati con questa canzone.
(2)	Qui e nelle strofe seguenti sono rievocati gli eventi del festival di Woodstock del 1969, al quale Melanie aveva partecipato l'anno prima, eseguendo Beautiful People e Birthday Of The Sun, ed in particolare la pioggia che era caduta sui partecipanti, e che era stata sopportata con elegante noncuranza (almeno, così si racconta) dai ragazzi che assistevano allo storico evento.

	Tutta la canzone è una sorta di celebrazione alla Woodstock Nation da parte di una cantante che, come poche altre, impersonifica la "hippie chick" di quegli anni. Il coro gospel di accompagnamento era eseguito dagli Hawkin Singers, l'accompagnamento non prevedeva altro che Melanie alla chitarra acustica, un organo Hammond ed un pianoforte, pochi mezzi e molto talento per una delle canzoni più trascinanti di sempre.
